Vibe Coding Lessons for Non-Tech Folks

Build real things by talking to your computer. No code. No terminal. No CS degree. Just vibes.

Vibe coding is the most fun I’ve had with technology in 18 years. And I’m not a developer.

Here’s the idea: instead of learning a programming language, you describe what you want to build in plain English. Claude Code — an AI that lives in your terminal — writes the code, creates the files, and runs everything. You look at the result and say “make the header bigger” or “add a contact form” and it does it.

That’s the whole thing. You talk. It builds. You give feedback. It adjusts. Repeat until you have the thing you wanted.

I built this entire website that way. I built my kids’ cookie business website that way. I’ve built booking systems, dashboards, newsletters, and apps — all by talking to Claude.

Now I teach other people to do it. People who aren’t developers. People who thought building software was for “technical people.” It’s not. It’s for anyone with an idea and the willingness to describe it out loud.

Intended Audience

This is for you if:

  • You've heard about vibe coding and want to try it but have no idea where to start
  • You're not a developer but you have ideas for things you want to build
  • You've tried tutorials but they always assume you know more than you do
  • You want to build a website, app, or tool without hiring someone or learning to code

Curriculum

What you'll learn

Module A

What Vibe Coding Actually Is

It's building software by describing what you want in plain English. Claude Code writes the code, you give feedback, it adjusts. That's it. No syntax to memorize.

Module B

Build Your First Website

In one session, you'll go from nothing to a live website. You describe the pages, the colors, the content. Claude builds it. You deploy it. It's real.

Module C

Build a Tool or App

A calculator, a booking form, a dashboard, a quiz — whatever your brain has been chewing on. We build it by talking to Claude and iterating until it works.

Module D

The Vibe Coding Workflow

Learn the loop that makes it all work: describe → review → adjust → ship. Once you get this loop, you can build anything.

FAQ

It's using AI (specifically Claude Code) to build software by describing what you want in plain language. You don't write code — you describe the thing, Claude writes the code, and you give feedback until it's right.

None. Zero. If you can describe what you want in words, you can vibe code. I've taught people who didn't know what HTML stands for.

Websites, web apps, tools, automations, dashboards, booking systems, calculators, portfolios — basically anything that runs in a browser or on a server.

Those give you templates someone else designed. Vibe coding gives you exactly what you want, built from scratch, that you fully own and control. And it's more fun.

The newsletter. Weekly from Hazel. AI that makes sense. Marketing that doesn't suck.
