The Build Session

90 minutes, 1:1, we build the thing you've been putting off. First 10 minutes is a no-commitment fit check — if we're not a match, your card never gets charged.

Fig. 05a½ — How the Card Works

An authorization hold — not a charge.

You'll see an authorization hold on your card, not a charge. I only capture the payment after we've confirmed the fit in the first 10 minutes. If we're not a match, the hold drops and you never see a charge on your statement.

Fig. 05b — What You Get

Everything that comes with a session.

  • 90 minutes on a live screen share — I drive Claude, you steer
  • A 10-minute fit check at the top — if it's not a match, no charge
  • A working system when we're done — not a mockup, the actual thing
  • Full recording of the session
  • Follow-up notes with next steps
  • One week of async support

Three steps. That's it.

01 — Tell me what you want to build

Pick a time below, fill out the short form, authorize the hold. I'll send a Google Calendar invite with a Meet link.

02 — We do a 10-minute fit check

First 10 minutes, we talk about what you want to build. If I'm not the right person, I void the hold on the spot. No charge.

03 — We build it

Remaining 80 minutes on screen share. I drive Claude, you steer. You leave with the working thing plus a recording.

Fig. 05c — What to Bring

What to bring.

  • A goal. One sentence is enough. "Automate my client onboarding" / "Turn my blog posts into social" / "Build a tool that does X."
  • Any existing tools or accounts the thing will touch (Notion, Airtable, Gmail, whatever).
  • A willingness to watch me make mistakes in real time. That's the whole point.

From a Client

"I showed up with a half-baked idea and left 90 minutes later with a fully working automation. Hazel doesn't just teach you AI — she builds with you."

Fig. 05e — FAQ

Not until after the fit check. You'll see an authorization hold when you book — it looks like a pending charge on your statement but it hasn't settled. I only capture the payment after the first 10 minutes, once we've both said "yes, let's do this." If we're not a match, I void the hold and the pending line disappears.

Pick "Honestly not sure" on the form. The fit check is designed for this — I'll help you figure out the highest-impact thing we can ship in 90 minutes, and if there isn't one, I'll tell you and void the hold.

No. Most of my clients are not technical. I use Claude and no-code tools so you don't have to write code.

Yes. Every session is recorded. You get the video plus written follow-up notes and one week of async support.

A Build Session is 1-on-1, 90 minutes, one thing built. The Build Room is a small cohort, by application, 4 weeks. Different shape, different product — both get you a real result.

The fit check IS the refund policy — no charge if we're not a match. If we run the session and you feel you didn't get value, reply to the follow-up email and I'll make it right.
